There are no electronics or moving parts resulting in a longer life expectancy.;The MultiTrode is easy to install and is unaffected by fat, foam, grease and sludge.;The probe works by using the conductive properties of the water to complete a circuit with a controller. The probe can be mounted by the inflow, allowing the turbulence to keep it clean.
