RS PRO 5.5V Intelligent RGB LED (5050 SMD)


A reliable and Intelligent LED with control and light emitting circuit all contained in a 2mm square sized package fit for a wide range of lighting applications.

Designed based around the industry standard SK6182, the control circuit contains signal shaping amplification, built-in constant current source and a high precision RC oscillator.

Using a unipolar NRZ communication mode data, the 32-bit data is transmitted from the controller to DIN of the first LED. After an internal data latch, the remaining data is passed through the amplification circuit and sent through the DO port to the remaining pixels.

Taking advantage of automatic shaping forwarding technology the only limitation to the number of cascaded LEDs is signal transmission speed.
