Eaton Isolator Switch, Accepts Padlocks, 15g Mechanical Shock Resistance - T0-3 Series - 207159 T0-3-8342/I1/SVB

This isolator switch from Eaton lets you safely power down an isolated part of a circuit when performing critical service functions on your industrial machinery. As it comes with a locking ring, you can padlock the red rotary actuator to the fixed outer yellow ring to keep the switch in an 'off' position for reassurance that you're safe to work. An IP65 rating means you can trust it withstands dust and low-pressure jets of water, so it's a practical choice for safety switch applications in harsh settings. Compact dimensions of 80 (L) x 137 (W) x 130mm (D) and handy pre-drilled mounting holes make it easy to install in your industrial automation and control devices.

What type of isolating mechanism does this switch use?

As this is a non-fused isolator switch, it has a rotary cam switch that disconnects your circuits and safely stops the power. This means you can easily reset it and won't need to replace any fuses for the device to work again.
