The VSMG2700 series, from Vishay Semiconductors, are high speed Infrared (IR) emitting diodes. They come in surface mount (SMT) PLCC-2 packages which use double hetero (DH) technology.The VSMG2700 family are ideal for applications such as IR radiation sources for CMOS cameras and high speed IR data transmission.
