Ixxat simplyCAN, USB-CAN-Adapter with galvanic isolation and D-Sub 9 connector
With its CAN high-speed interface, the Ixxat simplyCAN enables a fast and cost-efficient CAN bus connection of computers with USB interface. It is a suitable tool for diagnosis, configuration, and commissioning of CAN networks. Using a straightforward API, Ixxat simplyCAN can be easily integrated into various customer applications and does not require a driver installation for operation. The PC connection is established via a native USB 1.1 Full-Speed port (12 Mbit/s), while the CAN bus side connects via a D-Sub 9 connector with galvanic isolation. This galvanic isolation provides reliable protection of the PC against overvoltage and voltage peaks. The simplyCAN device includes a simple monitoring tool for Windows and Linux, which can be used for commissioning the adapter, displaying messages in raw format, and sending individual messages.
