Fluke 1587FC/TPAK/C25 Insulation Multimeter, 50 V Min, 1000 V Max, 2 GΩ CAT III 1000 V, CAT IV 600 V

This insulation tester is a handheld, battery-powered instrument that combines insulation resistance measurement with multimeter functions for field diagnostics and preventive maintenance in industrial environments. It is designed for use on live and de-energised equipment, providing insulation resistance up to very high values and selectable test voltages to assess insulation condition under controlled test currents. The unit is suited to technicians working on motors, drives and electrical systems where portable, rugged measurement capability is required.

It is operable with capacitive loads up to 1 μF and auto-discharges capacitive voltage rapidly, with discharge time less than 0.5 s for C = 1 μF or less.

The unit functions between -20 °C and 55 °C and can be stored between -40 °C and 60 °C

It is rated for CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V measurement categories and meets IEC safety standards including IEC 61010 variants.

When used with compatible wireless tools and software it enables timed ratio tests, trend graphs, memory storage and temperature compensation via a measurements app.

Accessories include remote probe, test leads, crocodile clips, a magnetic hanger option and a soft case for site work.
