RS PRO Inspection Windows for Enclosures
Introducing inspection windows for enclosures from our trusted and reliable own brand RS PRO. This range of inspection windows are an excellent addition of accessories for enclosures, increasing visibility of internal electrical parts and components without coming into contact with them or opening the lid of the enclosure. This range of spring loaded inspection windows are ideal for troubleshooting on the go and can be secured via thumb screws for extra security. These inspection windows for enclosures are made using a durable polycarbonate and offer an IP rating of IP67, offering excellent protection from dust and liquids indoors and outdoors.

• Durable polycarbonate design in smoke grey for 2, 6, 8 and 12 modules
• Available with or without break break-away finger protection panel
• IP67 rating offering protection from dust and liquids (Stock no. 297-1184 features an IP44 rating and is not waterproof)
• Ideal for troubleshooting and accessing enclosures without opening them
• Can be used indoors and outdoors
• Wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C
• Spring loaded mechanism that can be secured with thumb screws

What does IP rating mean?
The IP rating is used to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc) and moisture. This enclosure offers an IP rating of IP67, offering a dust proof and waterproof enclosure. (stock number 297-1184 features an IP44 rating).
Is this suitable for use outdoors?
This inspection window can be used with enclosures indoor and outdoor, providing they offer a similar IP rating.
