RS PRO Harsh Environment Wire 0.5 mm² CSA, Brown, 25 m Reel


This harsh environment wire from RS PRO is ideal for internal wiring in extreme industrial environments. The silicone rubber insulation material means it can be used at temperatures down to -60°C and up to +180°C and can stand up to oils and solvents as well as the effects of ozone, radiation and weathering.

The tinned copper conductors offer good conductivity to ensure quality transmission of the signal, along with corrosion resistance to give the wire a long service life. Cables of this type are used in medical, electronic and electrical equipment that needs to be used in tough environmental conditions. They're often found in laboratories, where toxic gases could interfere with regular wires.
