RS PRO Stainless Steel Flanged Hex Nut, DIN 6923, M5

This stainless steel hex flanged nut is a fastener with a wide-flanged portion that acts as a non-spinning washer. Part of our tried and tested RS PRO range, these nuts have a flanged portion on one end. This lets you distribute the pressure of the nut without having to buy or install washers – the metal discs typically placed over nuts, bolts and screws to stop them from coming loose.

This hex flanged nut is made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The flanged portion is serrated, so it 'bites' into whatever surface it’s installed into. This provides a more secure fastening and protects against strong vibrations.

Hex flanged nuts are used in soft installation materials, manufacturing assembly lines and the automotive industry. Ours are RoHS certified as containing only minimal amounts of restricted hazardous substances.
