RS PRO 38mm Band Heater (235W)


A band heater style heating element designed to wrap around cylindrical pipes and tubes providing localised directed heat.

The Nozzle style band heater is constructed from high grade Mica insulation providing excellent electrical insulation at high temperatures and superb resistance to moisture.

A reliable and hardwearing heater band with a tough metal sheath featuring a high level of oxidation resistance and the clamping band will maintain its clamping pressure even at elevated temperatures, due to the low thermal expansion Steel build.

The Nickel Chromium resistance wire has been evenly wound for an accurate and uniform spread of heat avoiding hot spots. Terminated in a standard 10in fibreglass lead the 38mm band heating element is tough, reliable and ideal for workshops and industrial applications.
