This multipurpose foam tape from 3M is effective for use with substrates including metals and plastics. It creates joints between dissimilar materials as its foam core is supple enough to accommodate different rates of expansion and contraction that result from heat or cold exposure. Dynamic stress absorption means it withstands the vibration and impacts that are common in industrial workspaces. As the tape creates a permanent moisture-resistant seal and resists UV damage, it's suitable for use outdoors.

Is this foam tape heat-resistant?


Yes, it resists long-term heat exposure up to +150°C, so it's compatible with extreme environments and heat-curing processes such as enamel coating.
