RS PRO 24 Port ST Multimode Fibre Optic Patch Panel With 24 Ports Populated, 1U

The RS PRO fibre optic patch panel makes fibre optic systems more accessible by separating network equipment from the hardwiring. It’s supplied with 24 ports containing fibre optic adapters. These are individually labelled and suitable for ST (straight tip) connectors.

Patch cables (shorter cables) can be plugged into the front of the distribution panel and connected with longer wires at the back of the device. The 1U unit is 44.45 mm in height and designed to fit 19-inch racking systems. It features a removable rear plate for easy installation of cables and four standard cable entry points. These accept loose tube, tight buffer, pre-terminated and steel tape armoured cable.

This component has an Ingress Protection rating of IP20 so it's capable of withstanding everyday handling and dust. It meets UL (Underwriters Laboratories) approvals and the European Union’s key chemical control regulations. It's multi-mode and handy for business and telecommunications applications.
