RS PRO 24 mm x 36 m ESD Tape
This 24 mm x 36 m ESD (electrostatic discharge) safe tape is an adhesive, multi-purpose tape designed for use in EPAs (ESD protected areas). It’s part of our stringently tested RS PRO range.
EPAs are designated zones in which all surfaces, objects and people are kept at the same electrical charge to protect against electrostatic discharges (or ’shocks’). ESD safe tape is used to seal packages, prevent damage to sensitive components and to alert personnel and visitors to the margins of the EPA zone.
This tape is transparent with a grid of ESD symbols printed on it. It has a conductive polypropylene surface that's low charging and naturally anti-static. You'll find it's useable where ESD is a concern or as a means of storing sensitive equipment.
The tape is ideal for any industry where protection from electrostatic discharges is required. It's been manufactured to ESD20.20 and EN 61340-5-1 control standards.
