RS PRO Antistatic Heel Grounder

This pair of antistatic heel grounders is designed to reduce the amount of electrostatic discharge (ESD) in ESD-protected areas. They're from our trusted RS PRO range, so they meet our quality-control standards.

Static electricity can be generated from even the simple act of walking and can reduce the performance of electronic appliances. These grounders help prevent such static from being discharged in ESD-sensitive devices by grounding electrical charges.

These heel grounders are adjustable and can be worn with all flat shoe types. They're easy to use - simply slip the strap over the sole of your shoe, and place the ribbon inside your sock so it makes contact with the skin. As such, they're a great alternative to ESD conforming shoes, which may not be owned by all workers.

These heel grounders meet ESD S20.20 and EN (European Norms, or Standards) 61340-5-1 ESD control standards.
