Use this electrical tape from 3M to insulate around or over uneven surfaces. It's a pliable putty type that's easy to mould and apply, and it withstands loads of up to 3000V for reliable protection against hazards. For user safety, it shields against electric shocks. This is a suitable option for use with conductors that reach temperatures up to +80°C when it's over-wrapped with Super 33+ (170-1192) or Super 88 Vinyl (909-4521)electrical tape.

Use 3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty to insulate connections up to 600 V and to round out high-voltage connections to gear, smooth bus bar irregularities, and make a moisture seal at ground wire exits in high-voltage splices. This insulation putty can be wrapped, stretched or moulded around irregular shapes and electrical wires for quick, smooth insulation build-up. Its soft and pliable enough to simply mould with your fingers.
This insulation putty tape is commonly used by electricians and in construction, and is UL recognised as joint insulation for electrical conductors at temperatures up to 80 °C when over wrapped with either Super 33+™ or Super 88 Vinyl Electrical Tape.
