RS PRO 15 Way Cable Mount D-Sub Connector Plug
Use this RS PRO D-sub connector when you need a waterproof and field-installable plug. Its IP67 rating means it's protected against submersion in water for up to 30 minutes, making it a good choice for high-moisture or frequently washed-down environments.
The plug and wiring are well insulated and abrasion-resistant thanks to the silicone gasket and PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) housing. Its nickel-plated cold-rolled steel shell makes it resistant to corrosion and wear for use in tough environments. The 15 contacts provide durability and reliable electrical conductivity as they're made from gold-plated copper alloy.
You can use this plug for any application where you need to protect components against dust and water. It conforms to ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 standards, meaning the risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD) is minimal.
