The Ruland D bore zero backlash jaw coupling hub is a precision-engineered component designed to ensure a positive drive in applications where slippage is not an option. It is part of a three-piece coupling system consisting of two aluminum hubs and an elastomeric insert, known as the spider, which facilitates torque transmission while minimizing backlash.
