Elesa Counter, 4 Digit

The Elesa DD51 series mechanical resolution counter is a 4-digit direct drive, digital position indicator. It has clockwise shaft rotation with a maximum shaft speed of 250rpm. It is the black case, high-resistance, polyamide based (PA) technopolymer. It can be used for reading settings and outputs on machinery, as well as equipment requiring adjustment with the help of rotating shafts or lead screws.

Operating use:
To give an exact reading of distance moved by relating the reading of the indicator to the thread pitch of the shaft or lead screw (type dependant on the pitch -see table)
To count the number of turns of a shaft (types 001.00 or 0001.0) for an operator to set a specific setting to perform a given function
Fitting Instructions:
Drill 6mm by 10mm deep hole 22mm from the centre of the shaft to accept rear locating pin
Zero set shaft and indicator reading
Locate on the shaft and tighten the grub screw
