Its fail safe circuit allows operation with biased input/output pins even when the supply is shut down, supporting energy saving designs. A guaranteed start up ensure stable output , while its compact size reduces PCB space and costs.
The comparator has a low offset voltage of 2 mV max at 25 °C in the A grade version
