RS PRO Chassis Mount Clamp & Frame Construction 115/230 V ac Mains Transformer


It has been over 100 years since the introduction of the first commercial Transformer when the mass production began. Since then, many additional modifications were developed to support various applications, such as electromagnetic, relays, pumps or heating elements.

The general concept of Chassis Mounting Transformers is around the usage of magnetic induction between coils to convert current and or voltage levels without changing the frequency.

Today, we are proudly introducing our own branded RS PRO Mains Transformer, packed in a chassis mount configuration. Our chassis type Mount Transformer provides a primary voltage rating of 115 V ac, 230 V ac and power rating of 20 VA for exceptional isolating qualities. The two separate secondary windings can be connected either in series or parallel to give a wide range of output voltage and current options.

    Open Laminated Clamp & Frame 115-230Vac Primary 6VA to 100VA


    Chassis mounting mains transformers with twin 115Va.c. 50/60Hz primary windings which may be connected in series for 230V or parallel for 115V operation. The two independent secondary windings may be connected in series or parallel to give a wide range of output voltage and current options.

    Suitable transformer shrouds: 6 VA = 503-912 ; 12 & 20 VA = 504-004 ; 50, 75 & 100 VA = 503-928
