The Thomas & Betts Ty-Rap series black, weather-resistant cable tie is made of nylon 6.6. It has a bundle diameter of 44.45mm, length of 185.67mm and width of 4.83mm. The stippled surfaces prevent the tie from slipping around and along with the bundle, under vibration conditions or external shock. An angled (turned up) tail not only simplifies and speeds up insertion into the locking head but also facilitates pickup from a flat work area.
Each pack contains 1000 units.
Ty-Rap® cable tie is a premium cable tie with stainless steel (marine grade) locking barbs that anchor inside the head. This ensures a strong, reliable and long-lasting fastening under adverse conditions. This version is UV-resistant, especially recommended for outdoor applications. Rounded edges on the head and strap provide comfortable handling and eliminate the sharp edges that otherwise damage the cables. The gradual transition from strap to head protects against breakage at the head: strap junction. The notch-less body reduces stress concentration points, making this Ty-Rap® tie stronger and more slender than a conventional tie with notched bodies. The low profile design of the head facilitates secure tying in tight spaces.
