This multi-purpose battery condition tester is designed for use with over 12 different types of primary and rechargeable battery, from AA varieties to 3 V button cells. It can test one alkaline or NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) battery at a time.

The tester has a clear and easy-to-read LCD (liquid-crystal display) to view the battery's status. This unit is powered by a single AAA alkaline battery, and you'll find one supplied inside the product packaging.
