If you need to store any components that are prone to ESD (electrostatic discharge) damage, then this RS PRO conductive carbon polypropylene ESD box is ideal.
When two objects come in to contact that have different electrical charges, this can cause static damage to electronic components and lead to performance issues. Avoiding ESD is possible if you use ESD-safe boxes to store electronic components.
Lining the base of the case is 6 mm high-density foam and the case is made from polypropylene (PP). The PP case material is highly conductive and delivers constant shielding. The box is compact for transportation too as it has measurements of 42 mm (height) x 229 mm (length) x 126 mm (width). The box is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certified and complies to ESD S20.20 and EN 61340-5-1 ESD control programmes.
