The VO3062 and VO3063 triac driver family consists of a GaAs infrared LED optically coupled to a monolithic photosensitive zero crossing triac detector chip. The 600 V blocking voltage permits control of off-line voltages up to 240 VAC, with a safety factor of more than two, and is sufficient for as much as 380V.
