Infineon, Thyristor Module 1600 V 17 kA, 600 A 250 mA 1.27 V 7-Pin

Infineon offer a broad range of PowerBLOCK Thyristor modules that have a (Silicon control rectifier) SCR/SCR Phase Control arrangement. The base plate incorporates a pressure contact technology and varies in size from 20mm, 34mm, 50mm and 60mm. The base is an isolated copper base plate and the thyristor module can be used in most phase control application such as low voltage soft starters and power supplies as well as electrical drives. The Infineon devices are supplied in a robust hermetically sealed Industrial modular assembly that offers some protection in high humidity environments.

Pressure contact technology

The Infineon Phase Control Thyristors (PCT) offer different types of thyristors such as the capsule version, thyristor module and the combination PowerBLOCK thyristor/ diode module. The thyristor module style comes with a stable pressure contact which uses an isolated copper base plate in a range of sizes up to 60mm.
