RS PRO introduces a fantastic range of countersunk head open end blind rivet nuts. Designed to be easily installed and able to secure joints with short clamp lengths, these rivet nuts are engineered to create a mechanical fastening. They are internally threaded and counterbored tubular rivets used to create highly durable threads especially in thin materials. The blind rivet nut can be installed entirely from one side of the material when access is limited to the fixing, unlike machine screws. Specifically designed to provide a flush fit where non-interference is required. The countersunk head is a fantastic choice when a discreet style is wanted.
Made from steel with a zinc plating to ensure weather proofing and high corrosion resistance to elongate the life of your rivet nuts whilst keeping it lightweight and strong. These steel rivet nuts have a wide grip range with strong durability.
Used predominantly in modular buildings, portable wash facilities and plastic pallet and storage solutions.

Rivet nuts are installed in a similar fashion to blind rivets, driven through pre-drilled holes from one side of a material. The advantage of using rivet nuts is that they do not require hot welding, so they can be installed in metal, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials without a problem. They are used to permanently join two steel, aluminium or copper plates usually in mechanical applications where it is imperative that joints do not become loose and cause failure.
