Schneider Electric Solid-State Relay, 24 to 280V AC Output Voltage, 8.3ms Response Time - 6000 Series - 6210AXXSZS-DC3

For fast switching of currents in your electrical circuits, turn to this solid-state relay from Schneider Electric. It features screw clamp terminals on its input and output sides, so you can be sure of making a secure electrical connection. For reliably speedy operation, the unit has a fast turn-on and turn-off response time of 8.3ms. An LED indicator makes it easy to monitor its operating status for quick troubleshooting. Thanks to awide broad operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, this relay is suitable for use in demanding environments.

• Broad output voltage range between 24 and 280V AC for versatility
• IP20 rating indicates it's finger-safe for protection against electric shocks
• Designed for panel mounting for ease of installation in control cabinets

Applications

• Aviation industry
• Medical technology
• Robotics

What's the difference between a solid-state relay and an electromechanical relay?

While an electromechanical relay uses physical contacts to activate the power in a circuit, a solid-state relay typically comes with a built-in optocoupler that transmits electrical signals. As there are no moving parts in a solid-state relay, there's minimal risk of mechanical wear, which helps to extend its service life.
