It's an electrical switch that operates on a solid-state principle, using photo-sensitive material to send a signal. As it has no mechanical parts, it's a maintenance-free option that will function reliably for longer. There's also less chance of sparking, which means improved workplace safety.

The module features a yellow LED (light-emitting diode) indicator that comes on to indicate the appropriate voltage. This means you can monitor its status easily at a glance, even from a distance. You can mount this unit on a DIN rail, so it's compatible with industry-standard fixtures. Push-in connection means installation is simple and there's no need for tooling.
