By using it to connect endpoints, such as sensors, and the next stage in your system, you can easily transmit data through your automated setup. On one end of the cable, you'll find a straight M12 plug. The other end's unterminated and has eight colour-coded contacts, so you can adapt it to meet your system's needs.

An IP68 rating shows the cable's dust-proof and can tolerate full immersion in water, so it's safe to use in contaminated workplaces. In flexible setups, it handles temperatures between -5°C and +80°C. Fixing it in place will push the lower limit down to -40°C, making this a handy option for use in warehouses and cold-storage facilities.
