RS PRO Plastic Domed Push Button

This exit button from the RS PRO range is a sturdy and highly visible mechanism for opening automatic doors. A domed green button fits comfortably in the palm and centres the force of the press. It sits on a smart brushed stainless-steel plate with 'PRESS TO EXIT' engraved in block capitals. The button is made from durable plastic.

The flush-mounting plate is 85 mm square, with a depth of 41 mm. It comes with two pre-drilled countersunk holes for easy fixing and is backed with a metal single-gang box containing the workings of the switch.

Access-control entry/exit buttons such as this are commonly found in commercial, industrial and municipal buildings with controlled access. As it can be easily wiped down, it's suitable for use in environments such as food preparation areas and hospitals, where stringent hygiene standards are observed.
