ATEX Certified Power Connector Socket Outlet
Introducing the Scame Power Connector Socket. This surface-mounted switched interlock outlet socket is used in environments with potentially explosive atmospheres where gas and dust are common. The housing and internal assembly of this industrial connector feature outstanding resistance to impact and are also able to withstand aggressive chemical substances, atmospheric agents and harsh environmental conditions or applications. In addition to this, the ATEX rated power connectors are incredibly fire resistant and do not propagate flames, emit halogens or smoke, providing a great solution for power connectors being able to withstand high hazard environments.

• This power connector socket is ATEX certified and therefore suitable for use throughout the EU, as well as the assurance that it meets the leading standards for ensuring workplace safety in environments for explosive and flammable atmospheres

This high-quality connector is chemical and fire-resistant which means it is suitable for use in high hazard areas
• Due to the glass fibre reinforced polyester construction, these connectors offer superior impact resistance, higher than 20 J at 20°C
• IP66 rated - offering complete protection against dust ingress or any water projected by powerful jets offering exceptional performance in demanding environments
• For use with cable-mounted connectors also available in this series
• Offered in a wide variety of contact configuration and current ratings from 16A to 125A
• Voltage rating for all the switched interlocks is 100 V to 690 V

What is IECEx?
This is a type of voluntary system which provides an internationally recognised way of proving compliance with IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards.
