Need to reduce the M20-thread on your cable gland to fit an M16-thread connection? You can do just that with this adaptor from the RS PRO range. Simply screw it onto your cable gland and use a wrench to create a secure connection with your equipment.

The durable nylon 66 material is resistant to heat, water and impact, so it's ideal for use on industrial machinery in hazardous areas. For added safety, the nylon 66 meets the UL 94V-2 standard for flammability in plastics.

Plastic glands protect the ends of electrical cables where they join onto machines and equipment, preventing damage from dust and moisture. Gland adaptors are used to increase or decrease thread sizes on these cable ends without compromising the seal. You'll find them on industrial control panels and instrumentation.
