Scame 16 Amp and 32 Amp IP67 Glanded Cable Mount Connectors


From he trusted Scame brand, a range of IP67 waterproof cable mount industrial power connectors that are reliable and simple to assemble. The outer casing and inner contact carrier are constructed from a toughened engineering material designed to provide high thermal stability and mechanical strength. An easy opening and closing hinged lid provide extra protection to the sockets inner contact carrier tubes when not in use. A tight rubber seal on the inner lid and bayonet locking ring system ensures a watertight seal. A domed cable gland at the rear of the waterproof industrial connector provides external cable clamping and additional support. Stylishly designed, the Scame range of industrial power BS4343 sockets perform extremely well in the most challenging environments. All models are highly reliable and excellent quality.

Environmental Protection – IP Rating


Scame IP67 waterproof industrial cable mount connectors are designed in accordance with BS EN 60529. The IP rating is composed of two numbers. The first number refers to protection from solid matter, the second number for protection against liquids. The higher the number the better the protection.

Colour Coding


CEE industrial connectors have an industry standard colour coding in compliance with BS EN 60529 and IEC 309 Colour coding refers to a connector’s voltage rating.

Note

16A sockets have an additional safety feature. A shutter closes at the front of the socket contact tubes when the socket is not in use. This prevents accidental contact of live parts with slim foreign objects like screwdrivers and wires reducing the chance of electric shock.
