Choosing the correct castor type either top plate, bolt hole or threaded stem depends how you want to fix your castor to your application and how much weight each castor is expected to carry. These RS PRO castors have a top plate fixing.

Generally castor wheel ratings are light duty castors, medium duty castors and heavy-duty castors. As a guide, light duty support weights of up to 75 kg, medium duty support weights of between 76 kg and 140 kg and heavy duty supports weights of over 141 kg.
