The FI family are designed for board to cable applications with the electrical performance to support transmissions of Low Voltage Differential Signalling (LVDS) As products increasingly incorporate digital technology the FI family meets the internal signal needs for products as LCD, PDP, Rear Projection and other equipment utilizing LVDS.
Compatible with high speed differential transmission (90 to 100Ω)
Shielded versions offer improved EMI
Latch version offer improved mechanical retention under vibration
FI-R chosen by VESA as standard LVDS connector for LCD interface
