RS PRO Green Female Banana Socket, 4 mm Connector, Tab Termination, 1000V, 24A, Tin, Nickel Plating

Introducing a series of banana sockets from RS PRO. These female socket connectors mate with the popular 4 mm shrouded or unshrouded banana plug and wire. Upon inspection, these connectors have a shrouded female socket at one end with nickel, tin-plated contacts, an M12 x 0.75 threaded body, and a 4.8 mm Faston tag at the other. They operate at a high voltage (1kV) and have a 24 A current rating. Supplied with nut & washer.

Banana sockets are mainly used for electronics or electrical products to connect cables. The 4 mm reference is the size of the hole that receives the plug connector. They are perfect for custom power supply projects, enclosure units, modifications, or repairs to worn or broken sockets.
