It's made from polyurethane (PUR), meaning it's able to stand up to moderate corrosion stress and is free from potentially harmful copper and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It's connected to the vacuum with a G1/8 brass threaded connection, which resists corrosion and is compatible with many standard components.
