RS PRO PIR Sensor

This motion sensor wall switch from RS PRO does away with the need to switch lights on and off manually while reducing energy consumption by ensuring lighting is off when it's not needed. The single gang switch can replace a standard light switch or dimmer.

A passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor uses body heat to detect when someone is in the room. The switch can be used with any lighting, heating or ventilation equipment up to 10 A and is suitable for use in a 2-way lighting set-up. You can set the switch with a time delay of one to 30 minutes. The wall PIR switch meets standards BS EN 60669-2-1 as a safe household switch, while BS EN 55015 ensures it won't cause undue radio disturbance.
