The Microchip Microcontroller features a high-performance AVR CPU with a two-cycle hardware multiplier, running at up to 24 MHz. Designed with a flexible and low-power architecture, it incorporates advanced Microchip technologies including an Event System, intelligent analog functions, advanced digital peripherals, and a Peripheral Touch Controller (PTC). It offers single-cycle I/O access, a two-level interrupt controller, and supports Program and Debug Interface Disable for enhanced security. Operating within a supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V, it includes 128 KB of self-programmable Flash, 16 KB SRAM, 512B EEPROM, and 32B of user row nonvolatile memory that retains data during chip erase and remains programmable while locked. The memory endurance is rated at 1,000 cycles for Flash and 100,000 cycles for EEPROM, with data retention of up to 40 years at 55 °C, making it ideal for robust and low-power embedded applications.
