We are pleased to introduce our new range of RS PRO screened multicore industrial cables that are available from 4 cores to 18 cores and multiple lengths.

Upon inspection, these industrial cables have a durable screened PVC insulated sheath excellent for protection to reduce the effects of electromagnetic interference which can affect the performance, 16/0.2 mm tinned copper conductor and cores twisted together with overall polyester tape. They are ideal for use where there is little space or for organising cable installations that require multiple cabling connections, especially within industrial or entertainment applications. Typical applications include interconnections with instruments, electrical equipment, data transmission and process control.

    Current carrying capacities for multi-core cables are not given owing to the varied conditions of loading and construction. However, for guidance, where a single core of a multi-core cable is loaded, the current in a 16/0.2mm conductor should not exceed 2.5 Amp.
