CAN Bus Monitor Demonstration Board


Microchips MCP2515DM-BM demo board is a duo board kit that can create a CAN (Controller Area Network) bus. The two boards are identical and are connected with a CAN cable, while the other board is connected to the host PC. The software for this board can be used to send and receive CAN messages and configure the registers. The MCP2515 boars are both reversible meaning either one can take the others role, depending on how you have them connected.

Depending on the configuration of your cables, the board connected to your PC will become the monitor, and the other board will become the Traffic Generator.
