Use this rotary cam switch from Eaton to manually disconnect equipment from an electrical supply. You can use it in industrial applications to cut the power supply to isolated parts of a circuit when servicing machinery. It's also suitable for use as a safety switch. The device comes with a hand actuator, switch unit and mounting accessories, so it includes everything you need for immediate assembly. Its front plate is clearly marked with ON and OFF positions for ease of use, while a thumb grip lets you securely hold and move the switch. Safe isolation between the contacts reduces the risk of electrical shocks.

What conductors are compatible with this rotary cam switch?

This rotary cam switch accepts both solid and flexible conductors, which attach to the unit using screw terminals. These can withstand impact, so are reliable in harsh operating conditions as there's less chance of wiring accidentally working loose.

Eaton Rotary Cam Switches - T0 Series

The T0 series of rotary cam switches and switch disconnectors from Eaton are compact and robust. Rotary Cam Switches can be used for many switching and control applications, for example as ON-OFF, main, main/control, or instrument switches. The device consists of a hand actuator, the switch unit and the mounting accessories. This range of cam switches is also suitable for use in applications where there is a need to manually power down and disconnect electrical equipment for servicing and maintenance by cutting the power supply to isolated parts of the circuit. These cam switches can also be used as safety switches.

With an IP65 degree of protection, the devices are suited to hard-wearing industrial environments with a rated uninterrupted current of up to 20 A. Available in four different mounting options (surface mount, flush-mount, rear mount, and service distribution board mount). These cam switches can be selected in a multitude of contact sequence configurations.
