DF50 series crimp socket housings feature a positive locking latch mechanism that provides a tactile and audible click when the contacts are mated ensuring a secure connection when used in high vibration applications. The housings of the DF50 series crimp sockets are made from black UL94V-0 PBT (DF50A) or white UL94V-0 PBT (DF50S) and have thick walls to prevent cracking. The lances of the DF50 sockets mate with the crimp contact on the surface providing a robust and reliable lance structure.
