Snap action bi-metallic disc operates an SPST contact which is electrically isolated from the mounting bracket. All types reset when the temperature falls to nominally 15° below operating temperature. Phenolic body with stainless steel end cap. 1/4in tab termination. Contacts are rated to 250 Vac 10A with a maximum contact resistance of 50 mΩ. Dielectric strength of 2000 Vac. N/C types open on temperature rise. N/O types close on temperature rise.

Honeywell Open-On-Rise Thermostat Switch, 10A, 250V AC - 2455R Series - 2455R 82-196 L40C
Use this thermostat switch from Honeywell to maintain a set temperature in your industrial environment. Thanks to its open-on-rise design, the contacts of the thermostat open when the temperature rises to a set point of +40°C. When it drops to +25°C, the contacts close, activating the thermostat to prevent the temperature from dropping further. The switch's housing is made from a robust phenolic material that's resistant to heat for use in harsh environments. You can install this unit in your bimetallic thermostat to regulate the temperature of an enclosed space.
Features & Benefits
• Automatic reset eliminates the need for manual operation • Stainless steel end cap is resistant to impact and corrosion • Wide operating temperature range of 0°C to +150°C for use in hot and cold environments • Silver and nickel alloy contacts are highly conductive and corrosion-resistant to ensure a reliable connection
Applications
• Storage units • Industrial fans
How do I connect this thermostat switch?
You can connect this switch to a thermostat using its solder tab terminal. Simply insert pre-stripped connecting wires through the holes on the terminal and use a soldering iron to securely attach them.
