RS PRO introduces a fantastic range of hexagonal stainless-steel standoffs. These spacers are small pieces of material that sit between the screw head and surface to create or maintain a space clearance between two things. This range of spacers come in a range of different sizes and lengths (10 mm to 57 mm spacer), depending on the space required for your applications. These spacers have a hexagonal body shape and they are compatible with different screws, such as M2, M3 and M4 with male/female metric threading on both ends of the spacer. These spacers have been manufactured from stainless steel to provide corrosion and rust resistance giving your spacers durability and a long lifespan.

A spacer is a great component that can be used to position parts within an assembly, to lift sections making sure there is enough room for the heat to dissipate and to separate or create a space clearance between two items. Standoffs are like spacers in that they provide space and have a hex or round-shaped body and two openings. The main difference is that standoffs are usually threaded onto the screw or bolt and the threads can be male or female.
