This pneumatic shock absorber from Festo is suitable for use in a hydraulic cylinder. It cushions the impact of a moving piston and prevents damage and unnecessary wear to moving parts. The unit is self-adjusting and automatically reacts to the force applied to it. It has a built-in pressure spring to mechanically move the piston rod back to its original position. The component's seals are made from nitrile rubber (NBR), which offers resistance to heat and corrosion.
