Benefit from up to 100TB of storage with the ROCK PENTA SATA HAT for use with the ROCK 4 SE Single Board Computer. This SATA HAT simply utilises the M.2/PCle interface of the ROCK 4SE to provide up to 5 SATA ports. Powered by the JMB585 with 2 lane 5GBS PCIe buses with up to 10Gbps bandwidth. If configured in Raid0 mode, you could benefit from speeds of up to 803MB/s! PLEASE NOTE: A heat-sink is required in order to mount this SATA HAT to the ROCK 4 Model SE.
Key features of the SATA HAT for ROCK 4 SE
Up to 5x HDD/SSD, 2.5inch and 3.5inch storage is supported, max storage 100TB
4x SATA
1x eSATA with power - to utlise a 5th SATA port, you can use an eSATA connector. The eSATA connector provides both data and power and can directly drive a 3.5inch HDD via a single cable.
5th SATA port, an eSATA connector was implemented which can be exported e.g. out of the case. The eSATA connector provides both data and power. It can directly drive a 3.5inch HDD via a single cable.
Utilises two lanes of the PCIe 2.1 bus
