Broadcom® Silicon Photomultiplier (SiPM) AFBR-S4N66C013 detects low-level pulsed light sources such as Cherenkov or scintillation light from organic and inorganic scintillator materials. The NUV-HD SiPM uses an ultra-sensitive precision measurement of single photons that will detect light wavelengths from near-ultraviolet (UV) in the visible light spectrum. As well as having a high sensitivity towards the blue light region of the light spectrum. The single silicon multiplier uses through silicon via (TSV) technology and has an active area of 6.14 x 6.14 mm2. Although tiling multiple AFBR-S4N66C013 silicon photomultipliers can create a larger area by creating an array with hardly any edge loss. Applications include X-ray and gamma ray detection, astrophysics, time correlated single photon counting, gamma ray spectroscopy. The Broadcom® AFBR-S4N66C013 can be utilised in areas such as life sciences n flow cytometry, nuclear medicine as well as safety and security.
