The 62N series optical encoders offer either 12, 16, 24 or 32 detent positions for each code section. The 62N features a 0.5 inch package with a non-turn pushbutton dedicated shaft. This ensures pushbutton text and orientation which reduces accidental incorrect selections. They are designed for operational use to move display icons and select the highlighted option. The 62N series is extremely cost effective and has an operational expectancy of more than 3,000,000 operations life expectancy on the pushbutton and 1,000,000 rotational life expectancy on the encoder. This can help reduce maintenance costs and down-time.
