RS PRO, Portable Hollow Plunger Hydraulic Cylinder Single Acting 22 t 150 mm

From the extensive RS PRO Hydraulic Tools range, we offer you the RS PRO Single action hollow hydraulic cylinder, also known as centre hole cylinders. This single action plunger has a 22-ton capacity with a 150 mm stroke, made from chrome plated steel, plus, has a spring return with cylinder body threads with base and plunger fixing holes. This single action hollow hydraulic cylinder includes one female quick coupler and please note that if a coupler requires installation to the cylinder, you must use Teflon around the male 3/8 NPT thread. Hydraulic cylinders are also known as a linear hydraulic motor. They are a mechanical actuator used to provide unidirectional force through unidirectional stroke. The power to the cylinder is provided from pressurised hydraulic fluid. Normally oil is used as the hydraulic fluid. Single acting cylinders are the simplest, hydraulic fluid pushed through into the cylinder through a port extending the rod then the rod returns to its previous position, spring action. A Double action cylinder has a port at each end of the piston and the hydraulic fluid then extends and retracts the piston, faster and more controlled.
